BEN SCHNETZER (BEN) makes his debut in his first feature film with Ben's Plan. A native of New York City, he began acting at the age of 11 with the role of Dodger in the musical Oliver. Since then he hasn't stopped. Ben trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute in the summer of 2003. He lives with his family in Harlem.
GARY SOLDATI (Gary), a native of Massachusetts, has been acting and writing for most of his life. He has worked with Shakespeare & Company and Barrington Stage Company on a number of projects including Kenneth Lonergan's This is Our Youth. Since moving to New York City, some of his film and television credits include: The Overlookers (award winning feature), Law & Order, and Guiding Light. In 2006, Gary graduated from the William Esper Studio where he studied under Barbara Marchant.
VINCENT D'ABROUZE (Marco) was last seen in Last Best Chance on HBO and in the award winning The Overlookers. Other credits include: Ron Howard's The Paper, Law & Order and HBO's OZ. On Stage he last appeared in Olga Humphrey's F-Stop and Tony Vellela's Award winning Admissions directed by Austin Pendleton. He has also worked in commercials and print in New York City and his native Canada.
JESSICA LAWSON (Jesse) moved to New York City in 1998, graduating from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2000. Her film credits include: The Deep and Dreamless Sleep, Satellite, and the award winning films, Blonde and Sometimes the Neighbor. She has studied with Christine Farrell, Tom O'Horgan, and Tony Greco. Despite rumors of a rabid love affair with Gary, Jessica married the man of her dreams in a castle in Scotland in June 2005.
TAREAKE RAMOS (Jorge) is an accomplished dancer. His talents range from Ballet to Hip Hop to the Foxtrot, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Samba and everywhere in between! A member of Youth Dance Company, he has walked away from two ballroom competitions, including New York Dance Festival, with 21 gold medals collectively. This summer he was a bully in Morgan J. Freeman's, Just Like the Son, with Rosie Perez. He dances with the Pierre Dulaine American Dance Theater and with Rosie's Kids on Broadway.
SELENIS LEYVA (Maria) most recent stage credits include Ana in the Tropics and Chronicle of a Death Foretold, both at Repertorio Espanol, as well as A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey. Recent television roles include: a recurring role on Law & Order, Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and All my Children. Selenis is a series regular on Taina. Her film credits include the award winning Maria Full of Grace.
STEPHEN SCHNETZER (Carl) is a native of Boston, MA. After earning his B.A. in French with a minor in Spanish at Amherst, he studied acting at the Julliard School and the William Esper Studio. He has performed with classical theater companies such as the American Shakespeare Theatre, McCarter Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, Arena Stage, and the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco where he appeared in 20 productions over four seasons, including the acclaimed The Taming of the Shrew. Film and television credits include: Brooklyn Lobster, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, The Cosby Murder Mysteries, Prince Street, Shattered Innocence, Days of Our Lives, One life to Live, Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and for 17 years as Cass Winthrop on Another World. Theater credits include: (B'way) A Talent for Murder with Claudette Colbert, Filumena directed by Laurence Olivier, with Joan Plowright, and Edward Albee's The Goat: or Who is Sylvia. (Off B'way) Fallen Angels and Miss Julie at Roundabout Theater, Romeo and Juliet with Robert Sean Leonard, and the original production of Terrence McNally's The Lisbon Traviata. (Nat'l Tour) Shakespeare's People with Sir Michael Redgrave. (LA) The Tempest with Sir Anthony Hopkins. Schnetzer resides with his family in Harlem, USA.
PATRICIA KALEMBER (Shelly) has appeared on Broadway in Larry Shue's The Nerd, Off Broadway credits include The Vagina Monologues, at the Westside Arts Theatre, Y2K at the Lucille Lortel, From Above at Playwrights Horizon, Loose Knit at Second Stage and was in the original cast of The Foreigner at the Astor Place Theatre. Regional Credits include Accomplice and Blithe Spirit both at the Bay Street Theatre, Betrayal at the Berkshire Theatre Festival, The Miser, The Front Page and Cyrano de Bergerac all at Center Stage Baltimore and Current Events at the New York Stage and Film Festival. Her many films include Signs directed by M. Knight Shyamalan, Path to War directed by John Frankenheimer, Home Before Dark, Big Girls Don't Cry They Get Even, directed by Adrain Lyne. She was a series regular on Thirtysomething, Kay O'Brien, and Sisters. Television movies include, Straight From the Heart on Hallmark, When Husbands Cheat on Lifetime, Final Run, Little Girl Lost, Angel Flight Down, Living a Lie and Kaleidoscope all on network television. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, Daniel Gerroll and their three children.
