JENNA RICKER (Writer, Director, Producer) was writing scripts as early as eight years old. Handwritten on steno pads taken from her father's desk, they were primarily episodes of the television show Remington Steele, starring her childhood crush, Pierce Brosnan. By nine years old, thankfully, she had moved on to other projects. Originally from California, Jenna later moved to New York to study acting at the Tisch School of the Arts. Discovering a preference for storytelling behind the scenes, she picked up writing again and began directing theater. Her first script, Solitaire, was part of the Writing Out Loud screenplay series. The Garage was a quarter-finalist in the 2004 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' prestigious Nicholl Fellowship. She is currently writing her next feature, Please Press the # Sign that was in competition as a short for Kaos Films, based in London. In addition, Jenna has directed and produced several shorts as well as the award winning film, The Overlookers. This is her first feature film.
NINA KRSTIC (Director of Photography) moved from Yugoslavia to the US at the age of thirteen. A graduate from NYU, Nina has been behind the camera for four years. NYC Indy Media aired her short documentary, The End of Silence, about the Media's coverage of the Iraq War on Dish Network. Other credits include Bicycle Messengers and her own RNC: Airborne Assault documentary. She makes organic home cooked meals for her dogs.
TODD DAYTON (Sound) is half of Fallout Pictures, a NYC-based production company specializing in documentary film and television. Todd's sound credits include work on documentary features and television series, as well as narrative shorts and features.
JEFF LANDSMAN (Executive Producer) is the Developmental Reading Series Coordinator for The York Theatre Company. At York, he helped to produce The Show Goes On, written by and starring Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt. He was associate producer for York's reading of Little Women, as well as for York's Fall, 2002 Musicals In Mufti series. Together with Music in a Box Theatre Company, he served as a producer of Downtown Dysfunctionals! Little West Fifth Avenue Episode 2: Baby Buddha. In 2004, he produced Jennifer Del Rio's critically acclaimed cabaret, The Human Heart. In film, he was associate producer for Being Claudine, an award-winning independent film.
MARK GEARY (Original Music & Composition) came to NYC in 1993 with a one-way ticket from Dublin, $100 in his pocket, and a green card. He soon became recognized as one of the East Village's favorite performers, starting out playing with Jeff Buckley at the legendary Sin E Café, which his brother had opened. He soon came to open for the likes of Elvis Costello, The Pretenders, Joe Strummer, Tindersticks and regular New York visitors, The Fames. Other films he has scored are the award winning Loggerheads and Steel City most recently in the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
MIRJA MELBERG (Editor) Born in Sweden, Mirja now lives and works as an editor in Oslo, Norway as well as New York City. She taught editing at Nordland Art and Film School in Norway. Mirja has worked on such diverse projects, from Documentaries (Baptists Don't Dance [AS Entertainment Group], Afrikanske Lys [Mirmar Productions], Life and Other Inventions [Motlys Productions]), to Norway's award winning television series, Fremtiden Kommer Bakfra for the NRK, as well as Ben's Plan.
